Digital Foundry in a test took on the differences on the power level, while Gamers Nexus focused on the possible temperature differences between the devices. In both cases, it is not recommended to focus specifically in the search for one or the other model. There are PS5 consoles that work as intended. Digital Foundry also stressed the changes like these are quite common.
Even if changes such as the reduction of the heat sink appear to be worrying at first glance, it is particularly more likely that Sony has reduced the heat sink, because the practical data after the launch in the past year clearly made it a practicable option and the Console possibly even cheaper to produce.

Both Gamers Nexus and Digital Foundry, however, also emphasize that it is in the hands of the player, which heat development shows the console.
